Many firms engage in coaching for partners. It is often difficult, however, to identify the value-add to the firm when the contents of the sessions are necessarily confidential.
We have designed a 5-session coaching for business development programme which uses the Insights reports as first stage in understanding the challenges that the individual partner faces. By using the Sales Chapters we can both explain selling as a process as well as explore the partners' strengths and weaknesses in each phase of the sale. When combined with the other sessions, the output is a clearly articulated business development plan which the partner not only beleives in but is capable of delivering.
We deliver these business development coaching sessions at many law firms. They have often taken the place of new-partner skills training sessions, which were becoming poorly attended and too general for partners.
